"I had really come to the end of the line. I was on a downward spiral. Medications, poor diet, couldn't think straight.
The assessment and resulting interventions helped turn things around for me."

"It was a throw away comment I made during the history assessment that was picked up by the practitioner.
I went from total lethargy, severe cognition problems and about to loose my job to almost complete recovery in 1 month.
I was unknowingly being poisoned by lead (hair dye)"

Nutrition Medicine is the detailed application of specific dietary and nutrient supplement programs in the treatment of disease and maintenance of health, following detailed assessment of a patient's metabolic profile and nutrient requirements. Nutrition Medicine is therefore based on the premise of biochemical individuality.
The human body has developed a complex system of control mechanisms designed to regulate metabolic activity, optimise use of dietary nutrients, and conserve energy supplies. Below is an example of the Nutrition Medicine approach using natural treatments for Alzheimer's disease. This systematic approach is similar for other chronic illnesses.
From a nutritional perspective, the practitioner should attempt to identify all antecedents, trigger factors and mediators that are active in each patient and apply appropriate corrective treatment, if possible.
As with all chronic, multifactorial disease, emphasis is placed on identification of dietary and environmental factors that may be responsible for enhancing immune system activity (food allergens, gluten reactivity, heavy metal toxicity) or exacerbating inflammatory cytokine and eicosanoid production (essential fatty acid imbalance, antioxidant depletion).
Dietary-nutrient prescription is dependent on a thorough assessment of the patient's individual nutritional status, genetic susceptibility, specific nutrient requirements, and social and environmental habitat.
Following careful assessment, synthesis and prescription of a dietary and nutrient supplement program should proceed systematically, correcting for disturbances of:

Sub optimal nutrient intake, particularly key minerals, can exacerbate, symptoms, chronic disease and other harmful metabolic effects of toxic chemicals. Simple and inexpensive human, animal and environmental laboratory testing can reveal harmful chronic low level exposures and sources of harmful substances.

The process of 'wellness' is a tricky one and when dietary issues are involved it really can be a 'science'. I had suffered a lifetime of issues, including problems with severe migraine and sugar levels to name a few, and had been diagnosed with Coeliac disease just six months before meeting with Hartmut. Although I had major improvements after removing gluten from my diet I knew something was still just not quite right.
Hartmut took me through a detailed assessment process which involved not only a thorough medical but detailed family and personal history along with dietary history too. From this Hartmut set me on a pathway of eating the right foods to restore the depleted levels combined with supplements to bring those depleted levels up to more optimal levels.
During the process Hartmut took the time and energy to carefully explain in layman's terms the 'science' behind what had been happening and gave me the right information and guidance to address it. Six months on from that process I am feeling an energy and vitality that had been smothered for such a long time. As such I have no hesitation in recommending Hartmut to anyone.

Thank you so much Hartmut and your diligent follow up from your discussions with Mum. Your networking with the chef at the retirement village, and the Dr at the Integrative Health Clinic seems very constructive indeed.
I still cannot believe some days, that this alliance is in place, after so many years of trying to navigate Mum through her health challenges. I spoke with Mum today and she seems very satisfied that she has been heard and her wishes considered-along with some pioneering inroads into the inner sanctum of Chef's kitchen! She does seem a lot more confident in herself, knowing there is someone batting for her.
I know it is an ongoing work in progress, but I am extremely grateful for the way you have advocated for Mum, and commenced her on the supplements listed.
They seem like exceptional products-I have been considering commencing similar ones myself-but have been often confused by all the claims of so many different brands.
